Military deaths

The Defense Department last week identified the following Americanmilitary personnel who died in Iraq:

Nelson M. Lantigua,20, of Miami; lance corporal, MarineCorps. Lantigua died of noncombat-related injuries Tuesday in Anbarprovince, west of Baghdad. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion,10th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, 2nd Marine ExpeditionaryForce at Camp Lejeune, N.C.

Devin C. Poche,25, of Jacksonville, N.C.; sergeant, Army.Poche died of noncombat-related injuries Tuesday at ContingencyOperating Base Speicher, near Tikrit, north of Baghdad. He wasassigned to the Special Troops Battalion, 3rd Brigade, 25thInfantry Division at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.
