David Patrick Valera photographed this encounter on the corner of Broadway and 5th Street in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday. The man on the left was preaching a passage from the Bible, and the man on the right countered with his own views, Valera said. He used an Olympus OM-D EM-5 camera.
