Brush fire burns 60 acres near homes in Simi Valley area

Ventura County firefighters were battling a brush fire that has burned more than 60 acres in the Wood Canyon area.
Firefighters were battling the blaze on the ground and in the air. So far, no homes are threatened and no evacuation orders have been issued.
The fire broke out near Simi Valley around the intersection of Sage Street and Laurel Ridge Drive.
