A winning Powerball ticket sold in Los Angeles and worth $465,539 remains unclaimed after about five months since the winning numbers were drawn, lottery officials said.
“OK people, this is getting serious! Search your couch cushions, look in your glove box, check all your pants pockets,” the California Lottery prodded in a news release.

The lucky ticket matched five of the six numbers in the drawing: 31-35-41-9-57, missing only the Powerball number of 26. It was sold at Whitley Heights Market at 1900 North Highland Avenue.
The ticket expires at 5 p.m. on Nov. 18.
If the money goes unclaimed, lottery officials said, the prize money will go to California schools.
