Earthquake: 3.2 quake strikes near Berkeley

A shallow magnitude 3.2 earthquake was reported Tuesday morning two miles from Berkeley, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 1:07 a.m. PDT at a depth of 4.3 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was two miles from Orinda, three miles from Albany and four miles from Piedmont.
In the past 10 days, there has been one earthquake magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
