High-speed rail: An article in the Jan. 18 LATExtra section in advance of Gov. Jerry Brown’s State of the State speech noted that the governor backs a statewide high-speed rail program. It said voters agreed in 2006 to fund the project; in fact, voters approved it in 2008.
Yosemite photo classes: An article in the Jan. 8 Travel section on photography workshops in Yosemite National Park referred to an F-stop as a camera’s focal length. F-stop settings describe the size of the lens opening that allows light into the camera.
