Rock of Ages
The hit musical that has reintroduced the world to the total awesomeness of ’80s power ballads, poodle hair and Bartles & Jaymes wine coolers is now rocking the Las Vegas Strip. “Rock of Ages” is set in the Los Angeles of 1987, back when MTV played music and bulletproof-formula Aqua Net was a staple in every rock star’s dressing room. Plot twists unfold to a double LP’s worth of classic hair-band hits — Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin,” Whitesnake’s “Here I Go Again” and Bon Jovi’s “Wanted Dead or Alive.” Grab one of the free concert lighters and wave away.
