Gabriel Guzman finished first in 16:17 to lead Monroe at Pierce College. Herberto Manzano placed second with a time of 16:33 for Monroe.

Linh Tranh finished in 21:17 to lead Van Nuys at Pierce College. Sashana Macetangay took second with a time of 21:20 for Van Nuys.

San Pedro 20, Garfield 41, Palisades 84
Alex Rosales was the individual winner, finishing the three-mile course at Griffith Park in 17:20, to lead San Pedro (2-0). David Soto of San Pedro took second with a time of 17:24 and Robert Hernandez placed third in 17:25 for Garfield.

Girls

San Pedro 18, Garfield 51, Palisades 81
Twin sisters Megan Adams and Kirsten Adams tied for first with a time of 20:15 to lead San Pedro (2-0) at Griffith Park. Katia Castro of Garfield (1-1) placed third in 21:38.
