The curious will have two chances to get their hands on a Ramen Burger this weekend. Due to popular demand, the Ramen Burger will be making a second appearance on the West Coast this Sunday in Pasadena.
Keizo Shimamoto, the man behind the burger-noodle hybrid, has announced he’ll be selling 300 Ramen Burgers at Osawa in Pasadena on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The burgers will be priced at $8.
Shimamoto will also be at the Mitsuwa Market in Torrance on Saturday selling 500 burgers from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The burger, which debuted at the Smorgasburg food festival in Brooklyn earlier this year, has already created a cronut-like craze. Hundreds of people waited in line in the rain to get a taste.
The Ramen Burger is made with a ramen noodle bun and a meat patty.
Osawa, 77 N. Raymond Avenue, Pasadena (626) 683-1150.
