The forecast at FXX will remain sunny.
On Friday the network renewed long-running sitcom âItâs Always Sunny in Philadelphiaâ for Seasons 13 and 14. The renewal means it will tie âThe Adventures of Ozzie and Harrietâ as the longest-running live-action comedy series.
Thatâs about the only thing âItâs Always Sunny in Philadelphiaâ has in common with that wholesome slice of â50s Americana.
âSunnyâ -- starring Charlie Day, Danny DeVito, Kaitlin Olson, Rob McElhenney and Glenn Howerton -- centers on a group of depraved, underachieving friends who hang out at a South Philly bar called Paddyâs Pub.
âItâs Always Sunny in Philadelphiaâ recently concluded its 11th season and will return to FXX for Season 12 in early 2017.
It premiered on FX in 2005 and moved to sister network FXX in its ninth season.
