The Great Christmas Light Fight In every episode of this holiday competition, four families vie for a $50,000 prize and a Light Fight trophy. Taniya Nayak and Carter Oosterhouse are the judges. 8 p.m. ABC
Showtime at the Apollo Stars of comedy and music join host Steve Harvey for a re-imagining of the classic talent showcase series. 8 p.m. Fox
Chopped Host Ted Allen welcomes reality TV stars Les Gold (“Hardcore Pawn”), Claudia Jordan (“The Real Housewives of Atlanta”), Jenni Pulos (“Flipping Out”) and Karina Smirnoff (“Dancing With the Stars”) to compete in a new holiday-themed episode. 8 p.m. Food
Conviction Directed by actor Andrew McCarthy, this new episode features Richard Thomas (“The Waltons”) as the convicted killer of a lawyer who was one of Wallace’s (Eddie Cahill) closest friends. Wallace and the victim’s widow want to be sure the man is the murderer before his execution. Hayley Atwell, Shawn Ashmore and Merrin Dungey also star. 10 p.m. ABC
Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party Jason Derulo and Jamie Chung help cook up Snoop’s Christmas catfish, concoct a potent blend of eggnog and enjoy Martha’s crunchy dessert balls. 10 p.m. VH1
Timeless Jacqueline Byers and Sam Strike guest star as notorious outlaws Bonnie and Clyde as Lucy, Wyatt and Rufus (Abigail Spencer, Matt Lanter, Malcolm Barrett) try to figure out Flynn’s (Goran Visnjic) Depression-era scheme. 10 p.m. NBC

National Christmas Tree Lighting This new special recalls the history of the National Christmas Tree on the Ellipse, which began with President Calvin Coolidge more than 90 years ago. 7 p.m. Hallmark
Divas Holiday: Unsilent Night After a hiatus of four years, this channel’s onetime programming staple “VH1 Divas” returns with a tuneful holiday special, in which Mariah Carey, Chaka Khan, Patti LaBelle and Teyana Taylor perform songs of the season. From Kings Theatre in Brooklyn. 9 p.m. VH1
The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show The City of Light is the site of this annual special for the first time, as Paris welcomes the lingerie firm’s models, including Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Lily Aldridge, Jasmine Tookes (who wears the Bright Night Fantasy Bra, valued at $3 million), Taylor Hill, Martha Hunt and Stella Maxwell. 10 p.m. CBS
