Update: By the time the film was released, Williams had already risen to the ranks of “it” girl thanks to her role on the popular teenage drama “Dawson’s Creek.” After the show ended in 2003, Williams turned her attention to the big screen, earning rave reviews for her work in films such as “The Station Agent” and “Wendy and Lucy.”
