The pop star raked in 19.3 million views in 24 hours for her newest music video premiere, crushing One Direction, which last held the record with 12.3 million views in 24 hours for “Best Song Ever.” Much of the video features Cyrus getting romantic with a sledgehammer or swinging around on a wrecking ball, bare naked but for her boots. Still, the singer says it’s not about the nudity: “If people get past the point that I’m naked and you actually look at me, you can tell that I actually look more broken than even the song sounds.” Miley, your vulnerability makes us blush.
