Barbra Streisand adds second Hollywood Bowl date

Just a week removed from announcing a performance at the Hollywood Bowl on Nov. 9, Barbra Streisand is adding a second and reportedly final performance for this tour on Nov. 11.
The Bowl joins New York City’s Barclays Center in Brooklyn as the only venue thus far announced as hosting two dates with the vocalist. The second Bowl performance goes on sale Monday at 10 a.m.
Tickets for Streisand’s first date are already sold out and are fetching from $127.50 to as much as $9,999 for front row-center seats on the secondary market site StubHub. (Face value for the tickets ranged from $70.50 to $756.50, excluding service charges.) The site currently lists more than 800 tickets available.
Like the first date, also on the bill for the second Streisand performance will be smooth jazz saxophonist Chris Botti and young Italian vocal trio Il Volo.
The tour marks the 70-year-old singer’s first since 2007, which was marred by a few cancellations in Europe, including a Stockholm date that cited concerns for the singer’s voice. Though there were rumors of flagging ticket demand that year, this does not appear to be an issue in Los Angeles in 2012.
