Housing chill
The spring home-buying season opened with a thud in April as the number of homes sold in Southern California fell 9.2% to the lowest level for that month in three years. Median prices also fell, but only 1.8% throughout the region. Home sales are still less than half what they were in June 2005. Median home prices dropped more than 50% in less than two years and have remained flat
