Eddie McClintock, star of “Warehouse 13,” has sold his Sherman Oaks home for $2.645 million.
The contemporary, built in 1959, features a gated entry courtyard and the walls of glass popular with the Midcentury Modern style. The 3,739 square feet of bright and light interiors on one story have high ceilings, an open plan layout and recessed lighting.
A fireplace creates a focal point in the great/living room. The updated kitchen has stainless steel appliances, a center island and breakfast bar. A dining area, an office, five bedrooms and five bathrooms are among other rooms.
A swimming pool, patios, lawn and a sports court complete the close to an acre of grounds. There are cityscape and Valley views.
McClintock, who turns 48 next month, was on the Syfy network series from its start in 2009 until last year. This year he appears in “Battle Creek,” “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” and “Backstrom.”
His credits include “Bones” (2007), “Desperate Housewives” (2006), “Holding the Baby” (1998-2002) and “Stark Raving Mad” (1999-2000).
Public records show the actor bought the property two years ago for $2.245 million. He put it up for sale in March at $2.595 million.
Andrew Manning of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties was the listing agent. Fran Chavez, also with Berkshire Hathaway, represented the buyer.
