Anyone in need of an in-house studio should check this out: Electronic music pioneer Erez Eisen of Infected Mushroom has put his Studio City house on the market at $1.199 million.
Set in the Colfax Meadows area, the ranch-style home includes a recently built professional-grade recording studio with a voice booth. The 2,500-square-foot home, built in 1938, also features a living room fireplace, a dining room, an updated kitchen, a den, an office, three bedrooms and two bathrooms and hardwood floors.
Mature trees, a lagoon-style swimming pool with spa, an arbor and lawn fill the backyard.
A star architect to celebrities
Eisen, 32, and Amit Duvdevani founded Infected Mushroom in 1998. The duo, a bestselling group in Israel, has been an influence on the DJ and trance music scenes worldwide. Their most recent album, “Army of Mushrooms,” was released last year.
Eisen bought the property in 2007 for $1.1 million, public records show.
Burt Bakman of Keller Williams’ Studio City office is the listing agent.
