Kings tonight
AT COLORADO
When: 6 PDT.
Where: Pepsi Center.
On the air: TV: FS West; Radio: 1150.
Records: Kings 4-2-0, Avalanche 4-3-0.
Record vs. Avalanche (2009-10): 3-0-1.
Update: The Kings are one for 22 on the power play, a league-worst 4.6%, and have given up two short-handed goals against. What’s wrong? “Maybe a little too much standing around. Probably not enough pucks being shot at the net,” said right wing Justin Williams, who scored the lone power-play goal off a rebound Oct. 9. “We probably need to turn into a shooting power play for the time being.” After Friday’s practice, Coach Terry Murray said he hadn’t decided whether defenseman Matt Greene will play for the first time since undergoing shoulder surgery. The Kings waived goaltender Erik Ersberg and promoted Martin Jones from Ontario of the ECHL to Manchester (N.H.) of the AHL.
