at New York 4-11, Tampa Bay 1-1: Mark Teixeira hit a three-run homer in the Yankees’ eight-run third inning to break open the second game of a doubleheader. New York won the opener with a three-run eighth inning. Derek Jeter was hitless on the day.
Minnesota 6, at Toronto 3: Joe Mauer had three hits and keyed a five-run first inning.
Texas at Cleveland, ppd, rain: The game will be made up today as part of a doubleheader.
