A sexual predator who preys on Asian women in their homes has struck again, San Diego police said Thursday. The attack was the sixth since June.
The victims range in age from 20 to 48. In each attack, the woman had just returned home when a man broke into her residence and demanded money. The attacks have been spread throughout the city, and all occurred during the day.
In this week’s case, the victim had just returned from shopping Tuesday with her 18-month-old child when a man grabbed her from behind and held a knife to her neck. The woman was sexually assaulted, but her child was not injured.
In all the cases, the attacker has been described as a white or Latino man of medium build in his 30s. Anyone with information is asked to call the San Diego Police Department at (619) 531-2299.
