Three people were arrested Thursday in connection with a fatal shooting Wednesday night in which a man opened fire at a crowd at a taco stand, leaving one man dead and wounding five others, authorities said.
The three people, whose names were not released, were involved in the 10:40 p.m. shooting in the 10800 block of Inglewood Avenue.
The incident began when a vehicle carrying the three suspects stopped in front of the taco stand and one man emerged and began firing a rifle, said Deputy Keith Ho.
Amador Cendejas-Cortes, 59, of Los Angeles died at the scene, according to a coroner’s official.
The five injured were a 12-year-old boy, another minor boy, two men and one woman, Ho said. The wounded were taken to hospitals.
