A teenage boy shot in a shopping center died Friday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The 17-year-old and his two brothers, who were being followed by two men, pulled into a shopping center near Cerritos College on Thursday in the 12500 block of Alondra Boulevard, Deputy Aura Sierra said.
The two men climbed out of their vehicle and one began firing, hitting the teenager, Sierra said. The two men then got back in their car and fled.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500.
