Regarding “Opposing forces tug on banks,” Feb. 9:
As a small-business owner, I’m mad as hell and, unfortunately, I have to take it. The article highlighting banks cutting off credit to small businesses hit home.
Last week my bank, Wells Fargo, terminated my credit line, even though I had no balance. I have had the credit line for 15 years, occasionally borrowing and paying it back. Never even had a late payment. It was canceled for “minimal account activity.”
Yes, we are feeling the pinch like everyone else, but we have managed our money well. We don’t owe anything and always pay our bills on time. For this we are penalized.
