Update: The Ducks return from a three-game trip to play their final homestand of the regular season, though their two remaining home games are separated by four days off. They’ve won fewer games at home (19) than on the road (22) this season. That’s a far cry from their home success the last three seasons, when they won 26 games at home in 2005-06, 26 in 2006-07 and 28 last season. For the Sharks, today’s game will be their last against a top-eight team, which could help their pursuit of the best overall record and home-ice advantage throughout the playoffs. They finish against Colorado, Phoenix and the Kings.
