Re “After 13 months, Spears case fizzles,” Oct. 22
It is mind-boggling to think of all the time and money wasted on pursuing the case against Britney Spears for driving with no license. Los Angeles Deputy City Atty. Michael Amerian should be ashamed of himself and the city attorney’s office for going to trial. His somewhat self-serving statement about how hard it is to convict celebrities in Los Angeles should have been considered by the city before using resources better allocated elsewhere.
