Jury Recesses Early in Racketeering Case

The jury in former Gov. George Ryan’s racketeering and fraud trial in Chicago recessed early for the weekend as the judge said “a personal matter” involving one of the jurors would be investigated. U.S. District Judge Rebecca R. Pallmeyer gave no details about the issue.
