Body Found in Truck of Missing Man

A man was found dead in a pickup Thursday near the Antelope Valley Freeway at Sierra Highway in Newhall, sheriff’s deputies said.
The truck belonged to Raymond Castro, 43, who had been reported missing under suspicious circumstances. But authorities said late Thursday that they could not confirm that the body was that of Castro.
Castro’s family reported him missing from his Canyon Country home late Wednesday after finding his truck missing and blood in the house and on the driveway.
