Moss Was Just Out to Buck the System

If the Randy Moss pantomime is the “most disgusting thing” Joe Buck has seen, he needs to get out a little more.

In the Packer-Viking game, after throwing an interception, Brett Favre shows up a teammate by gesturing that he ran a bad route. The Fox TV commentators are silent.
Then Moss “moons” the crowd and the commentators call it disgraceful. Is it the “Brett can do no wrong” syndrome or a case of discrimination against a black player with an unruly hairdo?

With what we have seen from Randy Moss lately, the latest juvenile actions by him should be expected. What cannot be expected or condoned are the comments and inactions of Minnesota Viking Coach Mike Tice when he said, “The league will deal with that. That’s not up to me.”
With comments such as that from the man in charge, we can only expect more disgusting behavior from players on and off the field.

I had to laugh at the $10,000 fine the NFL levied against Randy Moss. To Moss and his salary, that’s like, what, 50 cents? In other words, it won’t stop idiots like Moss and Terrell Owens from demonstrating their lack of class.
If the NFL really wants to stop these acts, simply penalize the team one point at the time of the infraction. And if Moss and his ilk still do it again, well who knows, maybe his teammates will decide a butt-whooping might work better. Now that’s a pay-per-view event I would pay to see.
