Don’t Sell It Short, People

I don’t see what the big fuss is about the Angels changing their name from Anaheim to Los Angeles. All we have to do is change a few words here and there, and no one will know the difference.
“I Love L.A.”
(sung to the tune “I Love L.A.” by Randy Newman)
Rollin’ past Cypress College
With rich Arte Moreno at my side
Santa Ana Freeway’s flowin’ down from the north
And we were born to ride.
McCourt’s no problem, he has no dough
Lower beer prices, baby
And let those cold suds flow.
We’re gonna outspend him, till he can’t take it no more.
From Yorba Linda to Fountain Valley
From El Toro to La Palma
Everybody’s very happy
‘Cause the Angels aren’t called Anaheim
Looks like another perfect day
I love L.A. (We love it!)
I love L.A. (We love it!)
Look at Splash Mountain
Enchanted Tiki
Look, Mickey Mouse over there, man
He comes up to my knees
Look at that Jasmine.
There ain’t nothin’ like her nowhere.
Katella Avenue (We love it!)
Harbor Boulevard (We love it!)
West Chapman Avenue (We love it!)
Ball Road (We love it! We love it! We love it!)
I love L.A.
I love L.A.
(We love it!)
