From Times Wire Reports
Mexico will bring genocide charges in March against two dozen former officials in connection with a 1968 student massacre.
Special prosecutor Ignacio Carrillo Prieto said the case would be brought against former high-ranking civilian and military authorities.
Ex-President Luis Echeverria, who was interior minister at the time, is under investigation and is widely expected to be charged, though Carrillo would not confirm that.
Rights experts were skeptical about the genocide charges, though they welcomed efforts to push the case.
