Enjoy single freedom

At least Maria Elena Fernandez’s malady had a specific deadline (“Feeling Peace as the Clock Gets Ever Louder,” Sept. 18). I hope as each day continues to pass, she continues to feel relief and contentment. It seems like her 35 pox has passed and that she has good things going on in her life now.
Word of advice: Don’t let the little voices of all the female elders of her family talking inside her head force her into a marriage she doesn’t want. From my vantage point, she’s young and still single and still free. Enjoy it all. And many more happy birthdays to her.
