Supervisors OK Fee Increases at Castaic Lake

The Board of Supervisors on Tuesday approved fee increases at Castaic Lake to allow the 11,000-acre park to stay open.
Entry fees at the lake north of Santa Clarita will rise from $6 to $7 in the off-season, and to $8 in the peak season. Annual and boat launch passes, currently $80 and $90 respectively, will be raised to $120.
The fee hikes will raise an estimated $138,000 this fiscal year and an estimated $293,000 in 2004-05.
