More animated Phil Hendrie

He struck out with a pilot for NBC earlier this year but radio comic Phil Hendrie hasn’t given up trying to make the leap to television -- even if it’s in cartoon form.
Hendrie will team with Steve Levitan to produce a pilot for a prime-time animated series for Fox about a character much like Hendrie -- a radio host with a wife and three stepchildren, Daily Variety reports. Hendrie would supply most of the voices for the show -- as he does now for his weeknight faux talk program on KFI-AM (640).
