There have been a couple of times now when I have been berated for not knowing some major sports figure who came up in conversation. “Come on! You don’t know who (fill in the blank) is? How can you not know that?” So I asked back, “Who is your representative in Congress?” Nobody knew. I think that if we had our priorities screwed on straight, California wouldn’t be in such a sorry state of affairs.
