* Cynthia Barboza and Loren Barry, Long Beach Wilson: Barboza had 28 kills and three blocks and Barry had 42 assists for the Bruins, ranked No. 4 by The Times, in a 25-23, 16-25, 25-17, 23-25, 23-21 Moore League victory over Long Beach Poly.
* Ashley Ferrell and Kristen Castillo, Torrance Bishop Montgomery: Ferrell had 18 kills and seven digs and Castillo had 32 assists in a 25-7, 25-13, 25-23 nonleague victory over North Torrance.
BOYS’ WATER POLO
* Steven Donohoe, La Verne Damien: Had three goals, three steals and three assists to lead the No. 6 Spartans (16-0) to a 12-6 victory over Rolling Hills Estates Peninsula in a pool-play game of the North Orange County tournament.
