St. Paul Upends Notre Dame, 24-21

Randall Reynoso kicked a 47-yard field goal with 18 seconds to play to give Santa Fe Springs St. Paul a 24-21 victory Thursday over visiting Sherman Oaks Notre Dame.
Notre Dame (4-2), winner of nine of the last 10 Mission League titles, took its first lead of the game, 14-13, on a 57-yard scoring run by Cary Harris with 10:28 left and extended the lead to 21-13 on a 30-yard touchdown pass from Garrett Green to Jimmy Welker with 5:17 left.
After the Swordsmen (4-2) tied the score with an 80-yard drive, Notre Dame’s Greg Gallucci muffed the ensuing kickoff.
