From Times Wire Reports
Unidentified gunmen killed nine Christians and wounded 11 in three villages in Indonesia’s central Sulawesi province, police and hospital staff said.
The attacks, the second this week on mostly Christian villages in the province, raised fears of a return to the bloody religious violence of 1999 to 2001.
About 90% of Indonesia’s 230 million people are Muslims. Christians, Hindus and Buddhists make up the rest.
