From Times Wire Reports
More than 2,000 people gathered in an amphitheater on the island of Bali to remember the 202 people killed by suicide bombers a year ago, ending with a moment of silence at 11:08 p.m., the time of the blasts at the Sari Club and Paddy’s Bar.
Similar services were held across Australia, which lost 88 citizens, the most of any country. In Sydney, several thousand people gathered to dedicate a bronze sculpture. The attack is blamed on Jemaah Islamiah, a regional terror group.
