Surprise Inspection Held at Chroming Facility

A team of agencies conducted a surprise inspection Thursday of a chrome-plating facility near an elementary school where children have been experiencing health problems.
City Atty. Rocky Delgadillo said the inspectors tested air, ground and water samples at Palace Plating in the 700 block of East 29th Street.
Parents of students at the nearby 28th Street Elementary have complained that their children were having respiratory problems.
The test results were pending.
