Beneath the Music

“The Ballad of Carlos Guitarlos” (April 30) left me in tears. This immensely talented man has struggled up from the darkness of drugs and desperation with a valiant soul that drives him to put his music in the hearts of others. Now he has found the spotlight his music so richly deserves. I can only pray that a younger generation comes to appreciate the energy, vision and power of his music.
