RE “Real Men Wear Girls’ Jeans” (by Michael Quintanilla, June 21): What with the ubiquitous T-shirt and jeans worn by both genders of all ages, one can avoid confusion just by saying that if a boy is wearing it, it’s boy’s clothing, and if a girl is wearing it, then it’s girl’s clothing. I would hope that the days of describing clothing as if it had a gender all its own have been over since the ‘60s.
