A 63-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempting to molest a 15-year-old boy at a Yorba Linda park, police said Tuesday.
Larry Nelson of Yorba Linda approached the boy at Hurless Barton Park on Saturday and exposed himself and solicited sex acts, said Sgt. Jack Conklin of the Brea Police Department, which also serves Yorba Linda.
Nelson was arrested late Monday at nearby Valley View Sports Park after authorities said he solicited an undercover police employee during a surveillance. He was released after posting $50,000 bail.
The parks are between Valley View and Casa Loma avenues.
