Oxnard Man Identified as Victim of Car Crash

Authorities on Tuesday released the identity of an Oxnard man who was killed in a traffic accident Monday.
Lauriano Hernandez-Garcia, 32, died when a truck rear-ended the Ford Escort he was riding in about 11:30 a.m., police said.
The accident occurred on 5th Street, near Rose Avenue.
The Escort’s driver and two other passengers were treated at area hospitals. The truck’s driver wasn’t injured.
