A Panorama City man charged with criminal trespassing for running onto the field May 21 at Dodger Stadium appeared for arraignment Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court, a spokesman for the city attorney’s office said.
Bench warrants had been issued for Oscar Villanueva, 26, after he failed to appear as scheduled June 12.
Villanueva, who said he thought the arraignment was scheduled later in the month, pleaded not guilty to a charge that carries maximum penalties of six months in jail and a $1,000 fine.
Villanueva was released on his own recognizance and a trial date was scheduled July 7.
