Baby Dies After Father Forgets Him in Van

A 7-month-old boy died after his father left him inside a van in Las Vegas for eight hours in 90-degree weather.
Lt. Jeff Carlson said the father found the boy unconscious Thursday. The child had been in the van since 8 a.m., when the father forgot to drop him off at a baby-sitter’s, police said.
Clark County Dist. Atty. David Roger said it was too early to determine whether charges would be filed.
