Nick Santoro, Encino Crespi: Singled home Ollie Linton in the sixth inning for a 1-0 victory over Westminster in a Southern Section Division III semifinal playoff game.

Brennan Boesch and Josh Satin, North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake: Boesch had three hits, including a home run, and scored three times and Satin doubled, homered and drove in two runs in a 7-4 Division III semifinal victory over West Covina South Hills.

Nick Forillo, Pasadena La Salle: Doubled home J.P. Musgrove in the eighth inning and pitched three innings of relief for the decision in a 5-4 Division V semifinal victory over Redlands Arrowhead Christian. Musgrove and Thomas Edwards each hit two-run homers.

SOFTBALL

Daniela Urincho, Norco: Threw a five-hitter with 13 strikeouts in a 1-0, nine-inning win over Anaheim Canyon in a Division II semifinal. Ursula Lopez doubled in Jamie Lowe, who doubled.

Lacy Tyler, La Mirada: Had a two-run single in the fifth inning in a 2-1 Division III victory over Hacienda Heights Wilson.

Amber Peterson, Westlake Village Oaks Christian: Homered in the fourth inning for a 1-0 Division IV semifinal victory over Goleta Dos Pueblos. Ashlee Freeman threw a one-hitter.

Katy Steinbrecher, Pasadena Poly: Had a bases-loaded walk in the first inning and a run-scoring single in the third in a 3-1 Division V semifinal victory over Pomona Catholic.

Lauren Nydam, Sun Valley Village Christian: Pitched a perfect game with 13 strikeouts in a 3-0 Division V semifinal victory over Lancaster Paraclete. Jackie Ruiz and Amy Servillo homered.
