Arizona Diamondback ace Curt Schilling has a broken right hand, another in a string of injuries for the two-time defending National League West champions.
Schilling was injured Friday when he was hit in the hand twice at San Diego. He left after Sean Burroughs’ line drive hit him on the back of the hand with two out in the seventh inning.
An MRI exam Tuesday uncovered a hairline fracture and a bone chip in the hand.
