Hospital to Pay Creditors in Reorganization Plan

The only hospital in the fast-growing Santa Clarita Valley has emerged from bankruptcy after years of financial troubles that included multimillion-dollar damage from the 1994 Northridge earthquake, a hospital spokeswoman said Tuesday.
In a plan approved by a U.S. Bankruptcy Court judge, Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital will undergo a four-year reorganization in which all creditors will be paid in full, spokeswoman Bhavna Mistry said.
