BOYS’ BASKETBALL
Danny Vasquez, Rosemead Bosco Tech: Scored 38 points, including a school-record 12 three-pointers, in a 73-49 Camino Real League victory over San Pedro Mary Star.
Max Hutchison, Van Nuys Grant: Scored 31 points and set a school record with nine three-pointers, as Grant won for the seventh consecutive time by beating Verdugo Hills, 102-68, in a Sunset Six League game.
Alex Banks, L.A. Cathedral: Scored 33 points and had seven rebounds and three blocked shots in an 80-54 Camino Del Rey League victory over Long Beach St. Anthony.
GIRLS’ BASKETBALL
Kesha Davis, L.A. Jordan: Had 33 points, 12 rebounds and nine steals in a 94-31 Eastern League victory over Bell.
Natasha Thomas, Inglewood Morningside: Led all scorers with 33 points in a 62-55 Bay League win over North Torrance.
Johnesia Rice, L.A. Washington: Scored 31 points in a 71-28 Marine League victory at Wilmington Banning.
BOYS’ SOCCER
Matt Mayne and Tyler Caldwell, Ojai Thacher: Kept the Toads unbeaten by scoring two goals each in a 9-0 Condor League victory over Ojai Villanova Prep.
Robbie Rogers, Santa Ana Mater Dei: Scored two first-half goals and the Monarchs held on to beat Bellflower St. John Bosco, 3-2, in a Serra League contest.
GIRLS’ SOCCER
Courtney Crane, and Krista Clinton, Oak Park: Crane scored three times and Clinton recorded her 10th shutout in goal for a 7-0 Tri-Valley League victory over Santa Barbara Bishop Diego.
Krystle Sanchez, North Hills Monroe: Scored twice and had an assist in a 4-1 Valley Mission League victory over Granada Hills Kennedy.
