Titan Posts Loss on Costs to Exit Telecom

Titan Corp., a maker of military communications equipment, had a loss in the fourth quarter because of costs to exit telecommunications and other businesses.
The net loss was $772,000, or 1 cent a share, contrasted with net income of $7.9 million, or 12 cents, a year earlier, San Diego-based Titan said. Sales rose 29% to $379.4 million.
Titan shares fell 9 cents to $8.30 on the NYSE.
